Christina Martinez brings over a decade of experience in real estate law to Henderson Franklin’s Real Estate Department. She focuses on facilitating smooth real estate transactions and providing clients with responsive, efficient, and detail-oriented representation. Licensed to practice in Florida since 2007, Christina has developed a reputation for resolving complex real estate issues and ensuring successful closings.

Christina’s dedication to real estate law began even before law school, driven by her passion for business, finance, and problem-solving. She enjoys tackling intricate real estate finance transactions, often comparing them to puzzles that require strategic solutions. Christina has also handled hospitality and franchise-related matters, further broadening her proficiency in the real estate industry.

Christina earned her LL.M. in Real Property Development from the University of Miami, where she received the Lori Hodges Sklar Academic Excellence Award. She also holds a Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Group and the Dean’s List.

Before joining Henderson Franklin, Christina worked in a Miami law firm. In that role, she handled multi-million-dollar commercial real estate transactions involving hotels, offices, shopping centers, and apartment buildings. Her responsibilities included drafting and negotiating loan documents, overseeing closings, and providing client advisement.

Originally from Miami, Christina recently moved to Southwest Florida. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, cooking, decorating, planning parties, and watching University of Miami football with her daughter, family, and friends.

Christina is eager to engage in her new community, and also looks forward to continuing her involvement with the Cancer Research Racquet, an organization dedicated to funding cancer research.
