Overview
Spencer focuses her practice in workers’ compensation defense. She represents public and private employers across Florida, guiding them through every stage of defending workers’ compensation claims. From ensuring timely and accurate filing of required documentation to preparing witnesses for depositions and trials, Spencer delivers strategic legal counsel tailored to each client’s needs. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.
Throughout her career, Spencer’s professional recognition includes being named a “Top Lawyer” in Workers’ Compensation Law by Naples Illustrated (2021-2024) and a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers (2023-2024).
Spencer served as co-chair of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section from 2018 to 2023. Her legal journey includes significant internships, such as working with the 20th Judicial Circuit Court as a staff attorney intern and interning with Safari Club International.
During her time at Ave Maria School of Law, Spencer excelled academically and held numerous leadership roles. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the International Law Journal and Treasurer of Phi Alpha Delta. She was also a teacher’s assistant for Advanced Contract Drafting and Advanced Sports Law under Professor Peter Carfagna. Her achievements earned her the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship.
Born and raised in Southwest Florida, Spencer is a proud graduate of Naples High School, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Ave Maria School of Law. When she’s not defending her clients, Spencer enjoys paddleboarding and traveling to explore new places.
