Iman Zekri Elected 2025 President of the Association of Family Law Professionals

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Divorce, Marital and Family Law attorney Iman Zekri has been elected as 2025 President of the Association of Family Law Professionals (AFLP) Board of Directors.

AFLP is a Southwest Florida-based organization that brings together a diverse group of professionals, including attorneys, judges, mediators, mental health professionals, financial experts, and court staff, all committed to improving outcomes for families navigating the complexities of family law matters.

As President, Zekri will lead AFLP’s efforts to foster collaboration and provide education for professionals dedicated to helping families in transition. She previously served as Vice President and Secretary of AFLP, demonstrating her dedication to the organization’s mission and her leadership ability. Zekri shares:

“I am honored to serve as the 2025 AFLP President. AFLP plays a critical role in bringing together diverse professionals to better serve families in Southwest Florida. I look forward to collaborating with our members to help improve the family law system and make divorce less traumatic for everyone involved.”

Zekri focuses her practice on divorce, child custody, paternity, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, and other family law matters. She also assists clients with navigating sensitive issues, including matters involving domestic violence. Her work has also earned her recognition as a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers and as a “Top Lawyer” by Naples Illustrated in both family and appellate law (2023-2024).

A Fort Myers native and alumna of Riverdale High School’s International Baccalaureate program, Zekri graduated summa cum laude from Florida Gulf Coast University.
